Can you really make money with Inboxdollars? Is it worth your time? Is it Legit or a Scam? Are there better ways to generate passive income online?. I will show you right now what I have found, and what has been my experience.
1. MY BRIEFLY SUMMARY
InboxDollars is a company that offers legitimate ways to earn money online but, I believe the benefits are too low. Considering the time you need to invest to see some cash, definitely, there are better ways online to generate passive income.
But to be honest, you can truly generate some cash using InboxDollars platform.
You can earn very few dollars through polls, PaidEmail, watching videos, subscribing to promotions by referral and using designated search engines. Everything is backed up by multiple corporations looking to promote their products.
As a result of this, you also have to be ready to receive large quantities of spam in your email and whichever phone you registered offering random products and offers that will probably not interest you.
After a few weeks trying different ways to earn money on this website, I am sad to say that InboxDollars is not a program I can recommend to earn money. Why? because I understand and know there are more effective ways to make money online.

2. WHAT IS INBOXDOLLARS
InboxDollar is a company that works as a bridge for thousands of business that wish to reach to millions of consumers.
In short, InboxDollar exists because many companies can take advantage by having access to a network of users willing to try different services and products, submit comments, fill polls, etc. for a little bit of cash.
The registration consists of answering questions like the ones below.
How can you earn money with InboxDollar? Can you really make money online? Yes, let me explain briefly.
When you register you will come across different categories, some of them very fun, that will allow you to earn money. Be prepared dough to spend long time frames answering polls, watching videos, submitting comments and subscribing for services to see real dollars instead on cents.
3. HOW DO YOU START EARNING MONEY WITH INBOXDOLLARS
When you create an account within InboxDollar the first thing you have to do is create a profile. You do this by answering a number of questions, which I did not consider them to be too invasive.
After completing your profile, you earn your first $5. After the profile, you gain access to a dashboard and a (probably) endless supply of things you can try and do.
I recommend reading the terms and conditions before doing anything else because due to a violation of their TOS your account could be canceled and you would lose anything you may have earned up until that point.
I tried various categories during my research and earned a couple of dollars while doing so. See below.
Offers
If you have the time and you can handle several trial subscriptions, this will be the fastest way to make some cash with InboxDollar.
Its simply subscribing and using for a period of time certain products or services.
For example, I signed up to create a new checking account with Aspiration Bank, and that earned me $15.
Polls
I answered various polls and earn some money after doing so, but this is something I do not recommend. I was not happy with this category because the pay is too low for the time invested and for some of the polls you have to answer up to a certain number of questions before you know if you qualify to finish said poll.
Sometimes you will spend 10 minutes answering questions, only to be told you do not qualify to continue. Wasting those 10 minutes.
Generally, polls will pay you between 25¢ and 50¢ and you will spend 15 to 25 minutes answering them. After answering polls for over 20 hours I had earned less than $10.00
Paid Emails
I found this category a bit more useful at InboxDollar. You will receive recommendations, offers and promotional services directly sent to your email and after you subscribe to any of them you get paid.

One positive thing about it is that you will receive product and services offers that might actually interest you and you get paid for trying them out. ???? The negative aspect is that after a very short time your email might be full to the brim with emails that you normally consider spam.
In addition, some of these offers will actually ask you to spend money on some services, which is the opposite of why you might have gone to InboxDollar in the first place.
Make Money Surfing the Web
If you are someone who is constantly searching for things online, this category might be good to generate some passive income. The first qualified search you execute will earn you a cent. After that, you will earn a cent with every two qualified searches.
What is a qualified search? You might ask. Is nothing more than your normal method of searching for anything through a search engine by imputing queries expecting to see good results.
My experience with this category is that if you have the inclination to do so, you can search through their search engine, instead of using Google, Yahoo or Bing and get paid for it.
Looking at it with a critical eye, I think there are more effective ways to earn money online and I will show you how in a few moments.
Watching TV and Videos
This is another way of earning money and it might become a hobby while you earn a few cents while doing so. While you watch the news, celebrity, entertainment, technology, health or food-related videos you can earn around one or two cents per video. There is also something called “Spin and Win” that helps you earn a little bit extra.
While in the middle of watching a video, you will be greeted with random promotions for services and products that will offer you to earn money by trying them out. You take a few extra steps to sign up and earn extra.
For example, while watching a video in this category I was offered to sign up for Hulu and earn $5 for doing so.
4. HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO START SEEING THE CREDIT EARNED?
This will depend on the categories you worked on and the terms and conditions of every promotion. See the graphic below for more details
5. HOW DO YOU GET THE MONEY YOU HAVE EARNED? IS PAYPAL OR PAYONEER USED?
InboxDollars ePayment is handled through TANGO®
Through this financial entity, you will have three options to receive your payment.
- In the form of a Gift card for a specific store, like Amazon, Walmart or Target.
- Donating your earnings to a charity.
- Prepaid Visa card
I am sorry to say that neither PayPal or Payoneer are options you can choose.
6. CONSUMER EXPERIENCE RESEARCH TO FURTHER VERIFY IF INBOXDOLLAR IS LEGIT OR A SCAM
Besides trying the product for a couple of weeks, getting familiarized with their platform and multiple ways of earning money, I also verified if they really paid people for their work and time. I checked their BBB rating at their Better Business Bureau page and common complaints and feedback left by users and how is InboxDollar resolving these.
This last research led me to the following,
7. WHAT DO I LIKE ABOUT INBOXDOLLARS
- There are multiple ways to earn money. If you have the time some of these categories can work for you and it could be fun while you do it.
- Some of the products and services being advertised in the different categories are very useful and you could actually find some really good offers.
- While I found several complaints in the Better Business Bureau review page for InboxDollar, I saw the business respond to the complaints and attempted to provide resolution to the issues.
8. WHAT I DON’T LIKE ABOUT INBOXDOLARS
- Low pay rate. Not worth the time invested.
- To get paid what you have earned for the first time, you need to earn a minimum of $30 which can take a while depending on what category you are focused on.
- To receive a little bit of cash you need to be ready for the relentless spam in your email.
- I did not like one condition in the terms and conditions that says “due to inactivity your account can be closed and any credits earned will be lost”

InboxDollar is a company that offers legitimate ways to earn money online. I believe the earning possibilities are too low versus the time spent. You can gain a little bit more if you are willing to subscribe to different product and service offers.

9. HOW TO USE INBOXDOLLARS THE BEST WAY TO AVOID SCAM
- Open an email account just for InboxDollar, this will help with the spam not affecting your real email account.
- Acquire a Google phone line so that you avoid providing your real phone number and avoid all telesales calls. You can request one for free here https://voice.google.com/ using your Gmail account.
- When you open your InboxDollar account make sure to read the terms and conditions and conduct yourself according to their requirements.
- When signing up for different services and products, make a list of all them. This will help you come back and cancel the different subscriptions you have signed up for.
